Welcome to the Summer School in Immunology! 

We are pleased to announce the second Summer School in Immunology that will be held on the 25th and 26th of September 2014 in Leuven (UZ Leuven, campus Gasthuisberg). This summer school will give special attention to young researchers. They will have the opportunity to present their recent work via oral or poster presentation. Senior researchers are also warmly welcomed.

 

All junior researchers were encouraged to submit an abstract before 31st of August.

Registration is required, but free. Please send an email to confirm your attendance to brecht.steelant@med.kuleuven.be.

Sandwich lunch is provided.

 

Keynote speakers:

- Miguel Valverde: TRPV4 channel in ciliated epithelia

- Liam O'Mahony: Immune regulation at the intestinal mucosa

 

This summer school is supported by the Flemish governement and doctoral school of Biomedical Sciences (OJO project, KU Leuven). It is a collaboration between the lab of Clinical Immunology of the KU Leuven, the ENT and Respiratory Department of the U Gent, Center for Environmental Sciences of the U Hasselt and the Respiratory Department of the U Liege.
